Rafiki [=Swahili for “friend”] tells us stories of advice from an old friend, gratitude, loyalty, and wisdom, all essential aspects of Kimyan’s + Degs’ heritage. The interdisciplinary approach of PlusPlusPlus Music [ + + + ] is once again showcased by the artwork, hand-painted by Kimyan Law, depicting his traditional face paint + ancestry of the Luba people, and Degs’ ancestry of the Kikuyu tribe
- honoring + highlighting the important cultural aspects of this piece of music.
